With Reverse Article Search you have at any time an up-to-date overview of all urls on the web on which your articles have been (partially) copied. The basis of Reverse Article Search is an online portal to which users can log in with a password. In addition, reporting is done via email and API. Finally, there is assistance via the helpdesk.

Are there any restrictions on the number of articles supplied?

We work with a fair use policy. If you deliver more articles over a long period of time, we will determine together what needs to be done.

How to use the API’s?

You can receive results from the Article Monitor services via our Restful API. The Text API is based on the articles you have supplied.  Alerts we have found can be requested with the Alert API.

In our REST API documentation, we describe the various endpoints available, their parameters, and other details, and we also document sample input to the endpoints. It is only possible to retrieve data from the database. You cannot change/delete data. The APIs can search the entire database. All data is available from the moment that your organisation has started working with Matchhamster.

How to add a user?

If you have admin rights, you can add new users. Go to settings by clicking on your account name. Scroll down to “Users” and click “New” to add a new user.

How to categorise domains in bulk?

How to attach sales agents with websites?

How to setup a new publication?

What languages can be processed?

All languages ​​indexed by search engines can normally be processed.

A user lost the password. What to do?

He/she has to go to the login page and Click on “Forgot your password?”.  After the e-mail address has been entered, the user will receive an email with which he can create a new password.

I would like a user to receive a customized report.

A user can have a customized report made which is sent periodically (per day or month) by email. If it is part of our agreement, 1 report per user is free of charge. In other cases, setting up the report costs 90 euros per hour.

The user has to request the custom report by leaving a ticket.

How to make a connection between my articles and Article Monitor?

Matchhamster connects to the content feed that is to be monitored via a restful API or XML feed. Matchhamster then automatically imports the Articles into the account and starts the online Monitoring of Articles. All results are collected and the data is visible in your personal dashboard.

How to edit a user?

If you have admin rights, you can edit users. Go to “Settings” by clicking on your account name. Scroll down to “Users” and click “Edit” to add a new user.

I want to link a number of countries or a region to a users profile.

That is possible. Please leave a ticket with your request. If these activities are not included in the agreement, the costs are 90 euros per hour.
